The second wine in our Winemaker Series, a collection of wine made by three different winemakers using essentially the same grapes. Jay Christopher Somers is a Oregon native who learned to make his wine from around the world. In comparison to the Tardy, this wine will be a little lighter and more fruit forward.
This wine has bright cherry and raspberry nose. Layers of cherry and berry fill the mouth with subtle spice notes. Enjoy the cherry notes on this expressive Pinot Noir from the start through the finish.

Jay's Bella Vida wines reflect his passion for Burgundy and a style honed through years of thoughtful approaches to learning from some of the best winemakers.
Prior to launching his signature J. Christopher brand, Jay worked with Dry River Vineyard in New Zealand, Adelsheim and Cameron in Oregon, and was fortunate to spend a harvest in the Mosel Valley with the Dr. Loosen winery famous for exceptional Rieslings.
His approach to crafting Pinot Noir is much like his taking to the stage as a lead guitarist. His winemaking is vibrant, harmonic and rich with life.
