2014 O'Donnell Pinot Noir
The last wine in our Winemaker Series, a collection of wine made by three different winemakers using essentially the same grapes. Brian O'Donnell is the owner and winemaker at Belle Pente Vineyard & Winery. Brian is a biodynamic farmer, creating a wine that emphasizes the Jory soil at Bella Vida.
This wine has a classic O'Donnell dusty rose color with pink hues. Sweet cherry, raspberry, and strawberry fruit on the nose. More round cherry, raspberry flavors fill the palate combined with a touch of cream and vanilla. Finishing with lingering cherry. Look for the length to further develop with time in the bottle.

Smitten with Pinot Noir, Brian and his wife Jill, founded Belle Pente in 1992 with the purchase of a 70 acre farm just east of Carlton. Here he set a goal to craft old world style wines of impeccable balance and seductive complexity that represent a strong sense of place.
