2015 Two Row Proprietor's Cuvee
Bella Vineyards Two Row Proprietor's Cuvee is a blend of all seven pinot noir clones that were picked and fermented simultaneously . By doing so, you will taste the entire vineyard in one offering. Varietal, clones, elevations, fruit ripeness, soil profiles, aspect, rootstocks and most of all “mother nature” are expressed. A lavender nose and layered flavors of licorice, cinnamon, and fig on the palate. Succulent red cherries wash the entire mouth ending with a bright warm finish. Yep that’s it. Enjoy with poultry, pork tenderloin, and caramel desserts.
This is a a field blend wine showcasing all that is special about Bella Vida Vineyard featuring all seven pinot noir clones, from top to bottom of the vineyard rows. Tasting notes include cherry and spice aromas, red and dark cherry, earth and spice.

This is a field blend of all 7 of the clones of Pinot Noir Bella Vida has planted in the vineyard.
All grapes come from just 2 rows of the vineyard
Hightened attention and extra hand work in the vineyard are given to these two rows to produce some of Bella Vida's most prized fruit.
Fermantations are done at Domino IV winery and overseen by Patrick Reuter. Patrick is encouraged to co-ferment different clones of Pinot Noir from different parts of the vineyard to create a field blended Pinot Noir.
Since we are farmers at Bella Vida, it is our belief that this is our best attempt to capture Bella Vida Vineyard in a bottle.

The co-owner of Dominio IV, Patrick Reuter's guiding hands ensure that our Two Row Proprietors Cuvee is a rich expression of our vineyard each year.
Patrick learned about winemaking while working harvests in Chile, New Zealand, Napa, Burgundy and Oregon, where he grew up. He graduated from the University of California Davis where he studied terroir while his wife Leigh studied viticulture.
Patrick and wife Leigh, started Dominio IV in 2002 and have been working with Viognier, Syrah, Pinot Noir and Tempranillo ever since.
